Let’s Think lessons develop pupils’ reasoning skills. Each lesson includes a concrete preparation for the task, some sort of cognitive conflict to resolve, social construction amongst pupils and carefully structured episodes of metacognition. The lessons work best in mixed achieving classrooms.
The assessment resources support the development of thinking across a range of ages and subjects and include the Assessment Companion for Thinking Skills (ACTS) as well as standardised Piagetian Tasks.
